We are now pleased to offer Contemplative Services to our clients. We invite you to explore the space and reset your heart and soul again and reconnect or deepen your relationship with God. Here is the list of our services.
Soul Rest Days:
We offer day retreats (8:45am-3:00pm) for those who need to unplug and just rest. Participants arrive in the morning to soul exercises and then are free to enjoy the property, walk the gnome trail or just sit by the creek. Participants are asked to enjoy the time in solitude without cell phones and distractions. Horses and our therapy cat will be on-site. We provide snacks and a light lunch. Limited Guest Capacity: 12 Day Cost: $75
Private Group Rest Days:
Want a place to bring a group of Moms/Dads, your small group, ministry team or work staff? We offer weekday and weekend events. Give yourself and group a time to refill, reflect and recover from the stress and business of life. Contemplative experiences are catered to your group. Groups are given access to the property from 9:00-3:00pm We provide snacks and a light lunch. *We require a minimum of 7 participants to book the property privately. Cost: $100/per person. Spiritual Direction:
One On One Sessions:
Spiritual Direction offers a non-judgemental place for you to share struggles, questions, joys and grief in your life with God. Clients can learn more to listen and hear God in everyday circumstances. Clients are also permitted to enjoy the creek and trail for an additional hour session days. Sessions are one hour and held on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays with Kym Byrd. Cost: $70
Clearness Committees:
Are you facing a tough decision and need discernment and support? We offer Clearness Committees. A Clearness Committee is a group of Spiritual Directors that form to listen to your dilemma and then ask good discerning questions. Many times Spiritual Directors are able to pinpoint blind spots or areas that need to be addresses so that you can walk in the direction you are being invited to. The process requires the Directee to share the details of the issue through email. Three Spiritual Directors meet you in person to ask discerning questions Questions and the answers are recorded for the Directee during the time. Finally each Spiritual Director shares the insights they received through prayer. Although you will have to make the final decisions with God the process can help to guide you and give you greater confirmation and clarity. Cost: $300 for 2 hours. Prayer Labyrinth:
For those of you looking for a spiritual practice that allows you to pray and contemplate in nature, we have built a new prayer rock labyrinth. Labyrinths are used in many faith traditions as a way to practice mindfulness, self reflection and as a metaphor for a spiritual journey. The 500 step labyrinth was created by Kym, Paul and Jorge to be a new way to interact with God. With each slow step, participants can pray, listen and walk. Some come with a deeper question they want to process. Others come with decisions or healivess that they want to let go of. With each step you are reminded of God’s presence and leading. Enter the labyrinth with our without shoes. Slowly meander through the path and its winding twists and turns until you safely land into the center. Repeat if necessary.
