Current Role: Co-founder and Chairman of the Board for Byrdhouse Ministries, Men’s Small Group Leader, Fundraiser, Landscaping and Groundskeeping

Heart at BHM: Paul is passionate about creating spaces for rest, leading men into healthiness, connection and a deeper relationship with God.

Professional Accomplishments: Retired 19-year Major League Baseball pitcher, named “The Nicest Guy in Baseball”, three-time Emmy Award-winning broadcaster for the Braves, certified Sustainable Faith Spiritual Director, Speaker and Mentor, Author of Free Byrd

Personal Life: Husband of 32 years to Kym and father to Grayson and Colby. Enjoys biking, fly fishing, photography, reading, movies, old-school music, good pizza, the beach, adventures and spoiling the animals with extra treats.

Heart at BHM: Kym is passionate about creating spaces for rest and silence to connect other with God, loves teaching others to live a more healthy balanced life, hosts community experiences, provides a safe place for soul hospitality
Education & Accomplishments: Holds a B.A. in Psychology from Louisiana State University and certified Sustainable Faith Spiritual Director, PCCCA Life Coach and Certified Enneagram Atlanta Coach, REEL Facilitator, Published her book Blessings in 2025, 2007 Strong Marriages in Sports baseball research project

Personal Life: Married to Paul for 32 years and mom to two grown sons, Grayson and Colby. Enjoys journaling, painting, Mahjong, films, time with friends, walks with her chickens and cat, and chocolate donuts with sprinkles.

Current Role: Executive Administrator, Manager of Operations/Marketing and Part time Facilitator
Heart at BHM: Claudia is passionate about using her experience and gifts to serve others and make a meaningful impact in her community. She loves developing teams, supporting leaders, solving problems, and creating environments where people feel safe, welcomed, valued and cared for.
Professional Experience: 22+ years in retail leadership experience, including serving as Assistant Vice President for the Southeast region followed by executive roles in product development, operations management, training and development. She brings strong leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills to BHM.
Personal Life: Lives in Georgia with her husband a retired firefighter and three unique cats. Enjoys Harley rides through the mountains, spa getaways, travel and great food.

Professional Role: Therapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Equusoma Trained Practitioner

Areas of Clinical Interest: Anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, healing and wellness, resiliency, the equine-human connection, survivorship of traumatic loss, chronic illness, and mind-body-soul connections
Heart at BHM: Cason's heart is loving and compassionate. She provides her clients with quality care, in our inviting atmosphere, by holding attuned empathy and hope for healing. She values the therapeutic relationship and genuine connection while holding space for individuals’ needs.
Education & Experience: Earned her undergraduate degree from Florida State University and her Master of Social Work from the University of Georgia. Worked in a hospital setting for many years, currently in private practice.
Personal Life: Lover of her dogs and horses, can be found pondering life while listening to Willie Nelson, enjoys baking French macarons, going on nature walks, and spending quality time with her family.

Current Role: Host of Soul Rest Days for Widows, Pastors & Saturday Soul Rest Days, Lead caterer for BHM Fundraisers, co-host of BHM workshop events and Mahjong Nights

Heart at BHM: Amber has a heart for hospitality, eye for elevating experiences for guests & excels at creates spaces for meaningful connections.
Education & Experience: Graduated Magna Cum Laude from Wake Forest University. Has served as a flight attendant and Safety Committee Chair for Delta Connection and as a facilitator for REEL ExperiencesServed. Currently Co-Chair of Highland Marietta Church Food Team and a substitute teacher with a focus on Special Education students.
Personal Life: Married to Nick for 29 years, with two sons, Andy and Alex. Loves crafts, designing T-shirts, exploring restaurants and fishing spots, and admiring God’s creation in nature.

Current Role: Supports Byrdhouse Ministries in administration, fundraising, organizing and creating environments for the ministry

Heart at BHM: Kace has a heart to serve others and show them God's love. She has an eye for the least of these. She makes spaces both organized and beautiful through order and efficiency.
Professional/Community Experience: 3+ years Licensing School manager and COS administrator for Candler School of Theology. Passionate about helping others, Kace has served as the Children’s Minister for her church and served on the board of Parkview Christian School. She served the homeless in Atlanta and several local outreach organizations like Lunches of Love, Push the Rock and Peace of Thread and also a tutoring program for refuge children that meet out of her church .
Personal Life: Enjoys time with her husband and four children, reading, listening to podcasts, hiking, pottery, and meaningful conversations on the front porch.
