Want to learn the basics to play Mahjong? Grab some friends and have a private lesson. Learn the tiles, how to navigate the 2026 Official Card and practice in a friendly environment. Hosted by Kym Byrd. We will provide the mahjong sets, cards, tables and a lite snacks. Click here to book a time.

Want to just have fun and play Mahjong? Join us for a Mahjong night hosted by Kym and Amber. Research shows that playing Mahjong has tons of health benefits. It improves cognitive function, provides social connection and relieves stress (once you get over learning the card). We will play and fellowship. We will provide tables, 2025/2026 Cards, Mahjong sets and light snacks. This will be an easy and fun environment with no crazy competitions. Mistakes will be teaching moments! Men or Women welcome! Please select the night you are coming and register to play below. *Please note you must have the basics of Mahjong down (suits, joker rules, 2025 card knowledge) to join. Come enjoy the property and walking trail in silence. Set time apart for quiet connection and reflection with God. Light healthy lunch, drinks and snacks included. $85 per person. **Max capacity is 12 participants in order to stay within safety guide lines. Cancellation Policy: We require a minimum of 4 participant sign ups to host the event. In the event that we have to cancel, we will refund your money or move you to another Soul Rest Day of your choice. We also require a minimum cancellation of 48 hours prior to the eventunless there is an emergency or sickness to receive a refund as preparation and food purchases are done days before. Curious about a Soul Rest Day and just want to dip your toe in to try it? Come to one of our Friday silent 1/2 Day Soul Rest Days. Participants will have access to the cabin, outdoor space and trail. A staff member will be present for assistance, this is a self guided time. Feel free to bring your own lunch, journal, books and art to work on. This workshop will be based on the newly released book “Considering Sparrows: What birds teach us about who we are and where we are going, and the joy of following Jesus." We will paint 3 wooden chunky plaques, add birds of fabric and decorate with lace, buttons, flowers etc. Each will be unique to the individual making them. Supplies and light snacks provided.

Join trained Spiritual Director Kym Byrd as she shares her health journey and takes you through spiritual practices that will help you practice soul rest in your daily life. Includes supplies, light snacks and beverages.
