Mahjong Beginner Lessons
Want to learn the basics to play Mahjong? Grab some friends and have a group lesson. In the first lesson we learn the basics. In lesson #1 we learn the tiles, how to navigate the 2026/2027 Official Card and practice in a friendly environment. During Lesson #2 we practice and play games with support and instruction. Lessons are hosted one-two weeks apart while the info is fresh in your mind. Hosted by Kym and Paul Byrd. We will provide the mahjong sets, cards, tables and a lite snacks. . Click here to inquire.

Want to just have fun and play Mahjong? Join us for a Mahjong night hosted by Kym and Amber. Research shows that playing Mahjong has tons of health benefits. It improves cognitive function, provides social connection and relieves stress (once you get over learning the card). We will play and fellowship. We will provide tables, 2026/2027 Cards, Mahjong sets and light snacks. This will be an easy and fun environment with no crazy competitions. Mistakes will be teaching moments! Men or Women welcome! Curious about a Soul Rest Day and just want to dip your toe in to try it? Come to one of our Friday silent 1/2 Day Soul Rest Days. Participants will have access to the cabin, outdoor space and trail. A staff member will be present for assistance, this is a self guided time. Feel free to bring your own lunch, journal, books and art to work on. You were there serving us through the pandemic, crisises, the political climate and our needs to be supported and shepparded. But what place does your soul have to rest and recover? Or are you married to a pastor and need a place to rest from others? We would like for you to come and spend a day of complete rest with us. No one will ask anything of you. You just get a day in silence with no demands to be with God in nature and beauty. Walk the trail, nap and let us feed you! You are NOT required to bring your spouse to attend.
